JFL was introduced into the region to complete a K-12 robotics, science, and engineering continuum for area students. Children can start with Jr. FIRST LEGO, move to FIRST LEGO, and then graduate up to VEX Robotics. We are serving more than 600 area children a year in Region 2000 with these robotics programs. Our goal is to see these numbers triple in the next five years. If you would like to know how you can help then please contact me. I would be happy to tell you more. In the meantime, come on out to our Jr. FIRST LEGO Tournament this Saturday morning and bring you kids for a fun time. Your kids can check out the work of area teams, experience hands-on science and technology demos, get your face painted, jump in our bounce house, eat hot dogs, and just have a great time.
