Region 2000 Tech Council hires Interim STEM Program Manager Mary Ann Hoss Barker

The Technology Council recently hired Mrs. Mary Ann Hoss Barker as our Interim STEM Program Manager. Mary Ann will be working with us over the summer to help us get ready for the hiring of a full-time STEM Program Manager this fall.

She has engaged in non-profit volunteer work in the Lynchburg community for twenty years.  With her primary focus during the past fifteen years  on public education,  Mary Ann has served Lynchburg City Schools in various capacities and is currently in her fifth year of service to the Lynchburg City School Board, having just completed two years as chairman of the board.  She has a background in employee benefits administration, liability claims management and holds a B.S. degree in Financial Management from Clemson University.
